Editorial Policy

Rules for source quality, commercial independence, corrections, and honest limitations across StoreLaunchGuide.

Useful before comprehensive

A page must solve a defined buying or operating task. We prefer a smaller set of distinct reviews and tools over many near-identical pages. Content generated from a shared template is not publishable until the platform-specific evidence and buyer scenario are genuinely different.

Claims and sourcing

Important product, pricing, policy, and availability claims should point to current first-party material. Editorial judgments are labeled by context. We do not claim professional review, personal use, testing, traffic, customer counts, or performance results unless that evidence exists and can be described.

Commercial independence

Compensation may affect whether a tracked link is available, but it does not determine inclusion, scores, warnings, or conclusions. Paid relationships are disclosed near relevant links. A provider without a commission can still be recommended when it fits the scenario.

Corrections and updates

Readers and providers may report a specific factual issue. We check the cited page, correct material errors, and update the review date. A change in provider terms does not automatically mean the earlier statement was deceptive, but stale guidance should not remain unqualified.
